the Savannah Diocese TEC!
The Diocese of Savannah TEC (Together Encounter Christ)
team is pleased to offer you an open invitation to the risen Christ. Come
experience the excitement that is the power of the Holy Spirit flowing
through your veins. Climb on board and embark with us on a journey of a
lifetime and stand witness to your faith journey. This phase of your
journey will be provided by the Savannah TEC team and as always is sponsored
by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
His will is our purpose and we
look forward to sharing with you our life in Christ. All that is asked is
that you open your heart to Jesus and then listen ..
Can you hear Him ?
TEC is...
TEC (Together Encounter Christ)
is a three day weekend. It begins at 10:00AM on a Saturday and ends at
about 4:00PM on Monday. Participants are required to attend all three
days. It's a special learning experience for youth in their late teens
(18-22 years old). Sponsored by the Diocese of Savannah, it is a
weekend, free from the pressures of school and work, where you will
experience living with others and with Christ in a Christian community.
The program is based on talks and discussions. Worship is also an
important part of the weekend, as is live music, fun, and fellowship.
However, it is not a therapy program. Anyone undergoing a serious
personal crisis should reconsider attending at this time.
To attend TEC as a Participant
you have to fill out a Participant Application Form.
What's the
point ?
TEC encourages a deeper
relationship with God, others and the Church by focusing on the
death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Who can go
on TEC ?
TEC is open to young adults of the
Diocese of Savannah between the ages of 18 and 23.
